Tony Gingell

Current Bike: 2004 Triumph Sprint
                         955cc

Why did you buy it?
I purchased this bike as I wanted a large capacity motorcycle that had panniers. As it is only used to and from work, there are often times when I need the extra carrying capacity, so the removable panniers come in handy. It was purchased as a Cat C write of due to fairing damage. I have now fitted the later 1050 Sprint fairing as it has an improved headlamp.

Dream Bike: Triumph Daytona 955I but it has to be in yellow. The only problem is, I'm not sure if my back will survive riding it but there is only one way to find out. I already have a R/H fairing panel for it and obviously it's in yellow.

Update: In March 2012 my dream came true. I purchased a 2001 955i in strontium yellow with just over 2,000 miles on the clock. It’s a true “fair weather” bike and only comes out in the summer when there is zero chance of rain. I hope that the weather in 2013 will be better than last year and I’ll be able to ride out with the Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club more often! I love the sound of the Triumph triple, coupled to the Triumph carbon sports can and its any excuse to go through a tunnel.

Branden Shanley

Current Bike: Honda CBR600RR

Why did you buy it?
No special reason. I had a list of bikes that I wanted and this was the first one that came up that was on the list.

Dream Bike: Nothing in mind at the moment but the next bike would have to have over 105 BHP.

Steve Gingell

Current Bike: Yamaha TDM 900

Why did you buy it? Being a “born again biker” (My first bike was a Suzuki AP50) I searched the review sites to help me choose. The TDM seemed to be the bike for me as it has an excellent riding position and plenty of low down grunt. Add a pair of Beowolf cans and it sounds gorgeous.

Dream bike: I’m happy with what I have. For now….
